Feb. 28, 2010 - Genoa, Italy - epa02059659 CFC Genoa 1893 players Honduras' David Suazo (L) and Giuseppe Sculli celebrate during their Italian Serie A soccer match against FC Bologna at Luigi Ferraris stadium in Genoa, Italy, 28 February 2010. Bologna won 4-3.

As the “Special One” continues to collect the pieces of the German National team faster than Silvio Berlusconi collects political scandals and compromising photos, Pete and Pops have collected a vino-barrel full of Serie A transfer rumours.  As the transfer period draws to a close, most teams (with exception of il Grifone and la Vecchia Signora) that have been hibernating during these summer months have to make good use of what little time they have left before the start of the 2010-2011 Serie A season.

In what could very well be the most important transfer on the peninsula, Internazionale’s “infant terrible” Mario Balotelli has finally secured his move away from La Beneamata and rejoins his “close friend” at Manchester City.  Pete and Pops argue over if this was a good move for the future of this Palermo-born phenomenon and if this move could possibly be good for Azzurri fans everywhere.

With some transfers already completed, some soon-to-be completed and others as far fetched as a Ronaldinho crash diet, the Wise Guys sift through the latest news and bring you the truth behind the rumours…of course, with drinks in hand.

Lets all get our bevandas ready, hold them up high and hope our teams don’t land Giuseppe Sculli….
